When does this Charter apply?

This Privacy Policy applies when you visit our websites, when you contact our sales and promotion managers. By visiting our websites, by contacting our sales and promotion managers, you give us your permission to collect and use personal data in accordance with the provisions of this Privacy Policy.

Why do we collect this data?

Who manages your data?

All personal data is managed by salamanderU. Within salamanderU, data is only accessible to those who need access to it due to their job duties.

In such cases, we will always ensure that your data is treated confidentially and used securely. This is subject to contractual clauses with our subcontractors. A subcontractor may therefore never use your data on their own initiative. The data must be deleted as soon as the subcontractor has completed its mission.

We may share your personal data with our potential successors and associated companies, such as subsidiaries or sister companies, for the same purposes as those mentioned in this Privacy Policy. We work with third parties or engage subcontractors to support certain aspects of our products and services. The transfer of your data is carried out exclusively in strict compliance with the purposes that are in force at salamanderU. In certain circumstances, we use anonymized aggregated data for business purposes or external reporting. This data can never be traced back to a specific individual.

At no time do we sell or rent your data to companies or individuals outside our company or group. We consider your data to be confidential information.

How do we protect your data?

View, correct or request deletion of data?

You have the right to access your data. You can ask us whether we process your personal data; the reason why we process it; which categories of data we process; with which categories of external parties we share your personal data; what is the origin of the processed data and what logic we implement in case certain personal data are processed automatically.

This period begins when we receive your written request and have all the information required to satisfy your request.

In order to allow you to exercise your right of access and prevent any unauthorized disclosure of your personal data, we may ask you for proof of your identity.

You have the right to request the deletion or modification of incomplete, erroneous, inaccurate, or outdated personal data. To do so, you can always contact us by email or by post. If necessary, we will rectify this information within the time limits prescribed by law. Please keep in mind that, in some cases, taking into account your request, we will no longer be able to offer you certain services. It is also not always possible for us to delete all the requested data, for example, because we are legally obliged to retain certain data for a specific period. To enable us to keep your data up to date, we ask that you notify us of any changes.

No direct marketing?

How long do we keep your personal data?

We ensure that we apply appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data. At the end of the applicable retention periods, personal data is completely anonymized or deleted. We process usage data for a maximum of ten years or until ten years after the last operational customer contact between the parties concerned.
