We are looking for a fulltime IT Developer.

Role

At the heart of salamanderU’s IT development activity, your mission is to assist the head of IT development in order to develop, test and deploy the digital solutions of the company.

Working in close collaboration with the company’s business experts and after a period of training, you will take charge of a part of the IT development responsibilities.

Responsabilities

Tasks you may be involved in are the following, among others in the same scope:

• Development of web applications: backend and frontend, mobile applications, tooling;
• Testing: development of unit tests, development of integration tests (selenium), maintenance and execution of the tests;
• Deployment: conception and realization of docker images;
• Development Operations: installation of our own tools, installation of software/hardware of our customers, maintenance;
• Integration: analysis of the customers’ needs, development of plugins of communication between our products and customers devices, integration with customers IT services;
• Support: IT support of our solutions.

Competences

The competences that the ideal candidate would master are:

• Programming languages: Python (Django framework), C++ – development of audio services, JavaScript React, ELM, Elixir (Phoenix, Phoenix.LiveView)
• Database (PostgreSQL)
• Docker
• WebRTC
• Rest API: conception, integration with existing services (LIMS, ERP, …)
• LDAP
• Communication Protocols: Modbus, profinet, BACnet, udp, …
• Test Driven Development
• Behaviour Driven Development (RSpec) using Behave
• Agile methodology
• Languages: English, French
• Team spirit
